Women’s Basketball Adds Quincy To Complete Schedule

PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley Women's Basketball has made an addition to the 2020-21 non-conference schedule, announcing Wednesday that the Braves will finish out the non-conference slate Friday against Quincy at Renaissance Coliseum. Friday's game against the Hawks will tip off at 2 p.m. and will be available on ESPN+.

With this week's addition of Quincy to the schedule on the heels of Thursday afternoon's home contest against South Dakota, Bradley (3-2 overall) will now play home games on back-to-back days for the first time since they hosted a season-opening tournament to kick off the 1987-88 campaign (wins over Saint Louis and Western Michigan).

While Quincy has been a common exhibition opponent for Bradley over the years (last in 2018-19), the Braves will be playing a regular-season game against the Hawks for the first time since the 1982-83 season. BU owns a 7-3 lead in the all-time series (regular-season meetings), which includes a 4-0 home mark. The teams have played six exhibition games since 2005-06 with Bradley claiming all six of those contests.

The game against Quincy will conclude the non-conference portion of the schedule for the Braves, who are slated to open Missouri Valley Conference play with a two-game series at Drake Jan. 1 & 2 in Des Moines, Iowa.
