SINGLES PLAYER-OF-THE-WEEK NOMINEE
Nikki Perlwitz, Bradley, So., Weston, FL
  • Perlwitz delivered Bradley's clinching point by downing Milwaukee's Anika Tylek in straight sets – 6-2, 7-6 (5) – at No. 5 Singles.
  • Perlwitz's victory gave the Braves a 4-2 lead in the final 4-3 win against the Panthers.
  • At 4-2 in the No. 5 position during the dual match season, the 2019 MVC Individual Championships winner of the Flight 5 Singles improved to 12-4 overall as a singles player in 2019-20.

DOUBLES TEAM-OF-THE-WEEK NOMINEE
Natalia Barbery, Sr. and Sandra Maletin, Jr. Bradley
  • Bradley's No. 1 Doubles team easily dispatched of Milwaukee's No. 1 team Sunday, posting a 6-1 victory.
  • Including an 11-7 record this season, the duo now owns a 38-31 all-time record when playing together the last three seasons.
  • The 38 victories for Barbery/Maletin ranks third in Bradley history, just four behind co-record holders Nicole Miller/Emily Regenold (42-45 from 2007-10) and Megan McGinnis/Tamra Payne (42-23, 1990-94).

WEEKEND DIRECTIONAL TRIANGULAR BECOMES DUAL
  • Bradley was to continue a 4-match home stand by hosting a triangular competition featuring Northern Illinois and Western Illinois Saturday at the Clubs at River City.
  • Already suffering with a depleted lineup, Western Illinois was forced to cancel its two matches Saturday when another player was lost to a knee injury this week, reducing its lineup to just three players.
  • Since dropping the first 16 meetings in the all-time series against Northern Illinios, Bradley now has won three of the last four and will be looking to extend its series winning streak against the Huskies to three in a row Saturday afternoon.
