Match Recap: Women's Tennis | | Bobby Parker, Associate AD for Communications
KANSAS CITY, MO – Juniors Sandra Maletin and Nina Marjanovic both earned straight-sets win during singles play, but those were the only two points Bradley (2-3) would manage in a 5-2 loss to host Kansas City (1-2) Saturday afternoon at Woodside Tennis Center.

Despite losing the doubles point, Bradley had a chance to rally for the team victory, but a pair of 3-sets losses at the No. 2 and 3 singles positions spoiled the comeback attempt.  Sophomore Bozana Lojpur (No. 2) and senior Natalia Barbery (No. 3) both won their respective first sets, only to see their opponents from Kansas City rally.

Maletin enjoyed a perfect day Saturday, following up a 6-1 win with Barbery at No. 1 Doubles with a 6-3, 6-3 win at No. 1 Singles to remain unbeaten (5-0) in singles action during the early dual match season.  Marjanovic secured Bradley's second point with a 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 6 Singles.

The Braves will wrap up their four-match road swing Sunday by paying a visit to Southeastern Conference member Missouri.  The teams are set to meet for the second time ever in women's tennis at 3 o'clock at the Green Tennis Center in Columbia.
