The Bradley track teams finished the Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Championship on Sunday afternoon with five Braves scoring on the final day of the meet in addition to two relay teams.

The 3,000m run highlighted the action for both teams. Sophomore Jack Franklin and redshirt freshman Matthew Richtman placed fourth and fifth, respectively, for the BU men with times of 8:34.83 and 8:34.87. McKenzie Altmayer also finished fourth for the BU women, posting a time of 9:57.37.

Sophomore Hannah Ivy finished eighth in the 400m dash, clocking the second-best time in school history for the second-consecutive day with a time of 57.36 – two tenths better than her PR set on Saturday.

Sophomore Joey Simon was the last Brave to score, finishing eighth in the 800m with a time of 1:56.29.

Additionally, both 4x400 relays added a point for BU with an eight-place finish

One day after earning all-conference honors in the 5,000m run with a second-place finish, senior Jake Hoffert collected the league's Elite 17 Award for owning the top GPA by an all-conference honoree.

Overall, the Bradley men placed seventh at the championship, while the women finished ninth.
