PEORIA, Ill. -- After a three-week break from competition since the team's spring opener Bradley Men's Golf gets back into the swing of things Monday and Tuesday, with the Braves heading to Jackson, Tenn., for the 14th annual Grover Page Classic which will be held at Jackson Country Club.

Bradley will be traveling to the state of Tennessee for the fourth consecutive spring, but will be playing in the Grover Page Classic for the first time since the 2007-08 season.  The Braves have had a three-week break from competition since opening the spring season Feb. 15 & 16 in Savannah, Ga.

Play at the par-72 Jackson Country Club will begin at 8:45 a.m. both Monday and Tuesday with shotgun starts.  The 10-team field includes Alabama A&M, Alabama State, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Green Bay, Indian Hills, John A. Logan, Southern Illinois, Tennessee State and tournament-host UT-Martin.

The Braves posted their lowest 54-hole score (924) of the year in the spring opener, capping the event with third lowest team round of the season (301).

Senior Alex Ciaramitaro picked up right where left off in the fall after leading Bradley in each of its last four fall tournaments.  Ciaramitaro earned his first career top-10 finish at the Invitational at Savannah Harbor where he tied for sixth.  A career-best four-under 68 in the final round helped him finish at even par 216 for the event.  Ciaramitaro owns a team-best 74.78 stroke average on the year.

Bradley will also benefit from the addition of mid-year transfer Brady Kreiter, who will be making his debut as a Brave at the Grover Page Classic.  The younger brother of former Bradley Men's Golfer Travis Kreiter, the Brimfield, Ill., native spent the fall semester at South Mountain Community College in Phoenix, Ariz., but did not play for the Cougars in the fall.  Kreiter was an all-state performer as a senior at Brimfield High School.

Junior Jalen Hodges heads into the Grover Page Classic coming off his lowest 54-hole score dating back to the Derek Dolenc Invitational in mid-September.  Hodges is third on the squad with a 77.56 stroke average this season.

Freshman Josh Kirkham has been the top finisher among Bradley's three freshmen in each of six tournaments this season after closing the Invitational at Savannah Harbor with a four-over 76.  Kirkham, who has been among Bradley's top three finishers in every outing, is second on the squad in stroke average at 77.56.

Fellow freshman Nick Armbrust rounds out the Bradley lineup for the Grover Page Classic, while freshman John Stillman will play as an individual for the first time in his career.

Following the Grover Page Classic, Bradley will have a short break before playing at the Twin Oaks Intercollegiate in Springfield, Mo., March 23 & 24.
