PLAYER-OF-THE-WEEK NOMINEE
Nikki Perlwitz, Bradley, So., Weston, FL
•  After teaming with Bozna Lojpur for a tie-break win at No. 2 Doubles to clinch the doubles point for the Braves, Perlwitz secured the match-clinching point with a 3-sets win at No. 5 Singles in Friday's 5-2 win against Southeast Missouri State.
•  Perlwitz suffered a hamstring injury while trailing 4-1 in the third set, but hobbled through the next five games to rally for the 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 win.
•  With her third consecutive win, Perlwitz improved to 6-2 during the dual match season and 14-4 overall in singles play this year.
•  Perlwitz's 14 wins on the year are tied for the 10th most ever by a Bradley sophomore and her six wins in the No. 5 position already are tied for the sixth-most in a single season at the position.

DOUBLES TEAM-OF-THE-WEEK NOMINEE
Bozana Lojpur, Bradley, So., Burnaby, British Columbia
Nikki Perlwitz, Bradley, So., Weston, FL
•  Bradley's No. 2 Doubles pairing rallied for a 7-6 (9) victory Friday to secure a 2-1 decision in doubles play for the Braves in the eventual 5-2 win against Southeast Missouri State.
•  Pairing their tie-break victory with the No. 3 Doubles win, Lojpur/Perlwitz delivered Bradley's first doubles point since the season-opening victory against IUPUI,

TIE-BREAKER SWEEP
•  Bradley's 5-2 win Friday against Southeast Missouri State was aided by the team's performance in set tie-breakers.
•  The Braves won all four tie-breakers Friday:  Lojpur/Perlwitz at No. 2 Doubles, Sandra Maletin in the second set of No. 1 Singles, Bozana Lojpur in the second set of No. 2 Singles and Natalia Barbery in the first set of No. 3 Singles.
•  Bradley went on to win all four matches that involved set tie-breakers.

UIC SERIES
• Illinois-Chicago has won the last four matches against Bradley to claim a 6-5 lead in the series, which dates back to 1980.
•  Bradley is seeking its first win versus the Flames since a 6-3 home decision March 24, 1995.
•  In addition to the overall 4-match series winning streak, UIC has won four consecutive home duals against the Braves since Bradley's last win in the Chicagoland April 4, 1992.

CHICAGO STATE SERIES
•  Bradley has won four straight duals against Chicago State to extend its series advantage to 13-4.
•  Despite Bradley's overall series advantage, many of the duals have been tightly contested, with eight decided by just one point.
•  Bradley's longest series winning streak is five, though the fifth consecutive win to start the Chicago State series was a forfeit victory Oct. 22, 2000.
