NORMAN, Okla. – For the sixth consecutive year Bradley Men's Golf earned Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) All-Academic Team honors, with the Braves one of 95 teams in the nation to garner the GCAA's Presidents Special Recognition Honor announced Thursday.

Bradley was one of four Missouri Valley Conference squads to earn the GCAA Presidents Special Recognition, which honors teams that finished the 2019-20 school year with a 3.50 team grade point average or better.

The Braves have been recognized with the GCAA All-Academic Team award each of the last six years, which included leading the MVC in GPA in 2014-15.  Bradley was one of seven Valley programs to be recognized in 2019-20.  Evansville and Valparaiso join BU as the only MVC programs to earn the distinction each of the past six years and the trio is among 36 NCAA Division I teams honored each of the last six seasons.

A college or university must submit the grade point averages for each player on its official squad list for the academic year in order to be eligible for GCAA All-Academic Team honors. To qualify as an All-Academic Team, the team must have a cumulative 3.0 or better grade point average for the year.

Individually, five of six Braves on the 2019-20 roster landed on the Bradley Athletic Director's Honor Roll in at least one of the two semesters for registering a GPA of 3.30 or higher, including freshman John Stillman earning a spot during both semesters.
