PEORIA, Ill. – Junior guard Tatum Koenig (West Branch, Iowa/West Branch) has been named this week's Bradley Scholar-Athlete of the Week announced Wednesday after helping Bradley Women's Basketball split a home series against Loyola.

Koenig averaged 9.5 points, while shooting 50 percent from the field and was 5-for-8 from three-point range against the Ramblers.  She also averaged 2.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals per outing.  Koenig had three points, three rebounds, three assists and a steal in Friday's series opener.  She followed that with a game and season-high 16 points in Saturday's victory, knocking down 5-of-6 three-point attempts to tie the fourth-best three-point shooting performance in program history (minimum five made three's). A public health education major, Koenig owns a 3.42 cumulative grade point average.

Each week, a student-athlete is selected as the Bradley Scholar-Athlete of the Week.  The individual chosen must be at least a sophomore in academic standing and boast a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average, while displaying a level of athletic excellence.

Koenig and the Braves open a season-long, three-game road swing Wednesday night with a 6 p.m. contest at I-74 rival Illinois State.
