The Bradley cross country teams are set for two meets on Friday, hosting the Bradley Pink Classic at Newman Golf Course, while the men's team heads to Florida State for the Pre-National Invitational.

PINK CLASSIC INFO
The Bradley Pink Classic features four races, starting at 1:30 p.m. at Newman Golf Course. The women's college division race opens the meet before the men's college competition begins at 2:15 p.m.

The Braves are then slated to compete in the women's 6K red race at 3 p.m. before the men's 8K race concludes the meet at 3:45 p.m. The red races feature a total of 37 Division I schools competing for the title.

Parking for the meet is available at the Newman Clubhouse with overflow parking at Corn Stock Theatre on the corner of Park and Nebraska.

PRE-NATIONAL INFO
The Bradley men are also slated for the Pre-National Invitational on the campus of Florida State with a 7 a.m. CT start time. The Braves are scheduled to compete against some of the country's top teams with a total of 11 nationally-ranked schools in the 39-team field, including five of the top 10.

LAST TIME OUT
Three Braves finished in the top 10 at the Gans Creek Classic at Missouri, while both teams finished in the top four and ahead of a number of regionally-ranked schools two weeks ago.

Ashley Maguire and Nicola Jansen placed seventh and ninth, respectively, for the Bradley women as BU placed fourth as a team. The Bradley men were paced by Alec Danner in 10th place as the Braves finished third overall and ahead of six regionally-ranked foes.

2019 PINK CLASSIC RECAP
The Bradley women finished first at the 2019 Bradley Pink Classic two years ago – the first time that BU claimed the team title on its home course. McKenzie Altmayer led the Braves by placing second overall, while teammate Tyler Schwartz finished third.

The Bradley men competed at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational two seasons ago and finished 31st overall.

UP NEXT
The Braves are set to send a small number of runners to Illinois for the Illini Open next Friday before competing in the Missouri Valley Conference Championships in two weeks at Illinois State.
