Bradley Soccer will play for the regular-season series sweep against Missouri Valley Conference rival SIU Edwardsville when the Cougars visit Shea Stadium Saturday night.

SERIES HISTORY
20th Meeting | SIUE leads 10-7-2 | SIUE leads at Bradley, 4-3-2
• Saturday's return game in the 2021 MVC double round-robin schedule will be the 20th all-time meeting between the Braves and Cougars.
• The series against SIUE dates back to Bradley's third season as a NCAA program, a 5-2 Cougars win Sept. 22, 1989 in Edwardsville.
• While SIUE won the first four series meetings from 1989-92, Bradley owns a 7-6-2 advantage since earning its first series win Sept. 11, 1993 at Becker Park.
• Though SIUE owns a slim, 4-3-2 advantage against Bradley in Peoria, the Shea Stadium series is knotted at 2-2-2 with the Braves earning the tiebreaker by claiming a PK shootout victory, 4-3, to clinch the 2010 MVC Tournament title after the teams played to a scoreless draw.
• Now in its second stint of MVC men's soccer membership (2010-16, 2021), SIUE is 6-4-2 in the 12 series meetings against Bradley is Valley rivals.

ON THE CUSP
• As Bradley's young lineup fights through a tough season, the Braves have been living on the edge all year.
• Through the season's first 12 regular-season games, 11 have been decided by just one goal and the Braves have scored first in four of those games, including three losses.
• To date, the 11-of-12 (.917) regular-season games decided by no more than one goal is the highest percentage of 1-goal decisions during a regular season in the program's 35 years.

• Dating back to the 2021 COVID spring season, 16 of Bradley's last 17 regular-season games have been decided by no more than one goal.

NIGHT OF FIRSTS
• Bradley's 4-3, double overtime win Sept. 25 at SIU Edwardsville was highlighted by a lengthy list of firsts for the Braves:
   -   The victory was Bradley's first Missouri Valley Conference road win against SIUE.
   -   As the first win at SIU Edwardsville since Sept. 10, 1995, the victory was Jim DeRose's first-ever win at Edwardsville.
   -   Sophomore Jack Douglas scored the tying goal in the 70th minute and golden goal in the 108th minute for his first career multi-goal game and his first career game-winner.
   -   Douglas earned his first MVC Offensive Player-of-the-Week honor for his efforts Saturday.
   -   Freshman defender Camden Kowalski recorded his first career points by scoring Bradley's first goal in the fifth minute and adding his first career assist on Douglas' equalizer in the 70th minute.
   -   Freshmen Francesco Pettinaroli (2) and Jared Sinnaeve both recorded their first career assists during the game, including the double assist on the Douglas golden winner.
