SPRINGFIELD, MO – Having already secured the Missouri Valley Conference regular-season championships based on SIU Edwardsville's win against Loyola Chicago earlier in the afternoon, #9 Missouri State (14-1-0, 9-0-0 MVC) did not suffer a let down, extending its winning streak to 12 consecutive games with a 4-0 victory against visiting Bradley Sunday evening at Allison South Stadium.

Bradley will close out the regular season Saturday night by hosting Evansville in a 7 p.m. kickoff at Shea Stadium.  The results around The Valley Sunday mean the Braves will be on the road for the first round of the MVC Men's Soccer Championship Nov. 9.

Despite being outshot, 10-1, in the first half, Bradley's defense remained stout throughout the first 45 minutes as Braves keeper Bryce Logan needed just three saves to keep Missouri State off the board.

Missouri State senior Josh Dolling broke through in the 55th minute when his hard shot from the top of the box rebounded right back to him for a second volley that Logan could not stop.  The Bears gained some insurance in the 71st minute on a goal from Simon Pedersen, then broke things open with goals from Joel Peterson just 49 seconds apart in the 87th and 88th minutes.
