The Prairie Farms Bradley Athlete of the Month is back! It's now time to look back at the month of October and vote for which Brave had the best month of action.

Junior Karagan Coggin of the volleyball team, senior Alec Danner of the men's cross country team, freshman Nicola Jansen of the women's cross country team and senior Megan Welch of the women's golf team are the four nominees for Prairie Farms Bradley Athlete of the Month in October.

Voting is open until Thursday at 11 a.m. and will be conducted through the @BradleyBraves twitter account.

Karagan Coggin • Jr. • Volleyball • Bartlett, Tenn.
• Hit a team-best .376, while averaging 2.50 kills per set to help Bradley to an 8-3 record
• Had 10 or more kills in seven of the 11 contests, including a match-high 17 kills in the five-set road victory at Missouri State
• Averaged 2.61 kills and boasted a .407 hitting percentage in Bradley's seven home matches
• Leads the MVC with a .365 hitting percentage in league games

Alec Danner • Sr. • Men's Cross Country • Woodridge, Ill.
• Led Bradley at two of its three meets during the month of October
• Earned All-Valley honors after placing a team-best fifth at the MVC Championship
• Helped lead Bradley to a second-place team finish at the conference meet
• Also led BU at the Gans Creek Classic, finishing 10th overall and posting the fourth-best 8K mark in school history at 24:15.0

Nicola Jansen • Fr. • Women's Cross Country • Pretoria, South Africa
• Named the Missouri Valley Conference Freshman of the Year and to the All-Valley Team after leading the Braves to a second-place team finish at the conference championship
• Placed third at the MVC title meet – the second-best finish ever by a Bradley freshman
• Named MVC Athlete of the Week after finishing fifth at the Bradley Pink Classic with the fifth-best 6K mark in school history
• Made her collegiate debut at the Gans Creek Classic and placed ninth overall

Megan Welch • Sr. • Women's Golf • Lakeville, Minn.
• Owned a team-best 73.67 stroke average in two tournaments and has a streak of seven consecutive rounds of 75 or better
• Tied for eighth at the Coyote Creek Classic to pace the Braves, for her second top-10 finish of the year
• Capped the fall schedule with the lowest 54-hole score of her Bradley career (220) at the Little Rock Golf Classic
• Finished the fall with a 74.67 stroke average.
