PEORIA, IL – For the just the second time in program history, Bradley Tennis is welcoming a Russian-born student-athlete to the program as Anna Belogliadova (St. Petersburg, Russia / Lyceum 144) will join the Braves beginning in the Fall 2022-23 semester, Head Coach Matt Tyler announced today.

Belogliadova joins current Brave Maria Bezmenova as the only Russians in Bradley Tennis history. At the time of signing, Belogliadova is the sixth international Brave with eligibility for the fall semester. In addition, Bradley Tennis has the highest ratio of international student-athletes to Americans of any Bradley athletic program and ties Men's Basketball with six international student-athletes having eligibility in the fall.

"I'm very excited to welcome Anna to our Bradley Tennis family." Tyler said. "She is an outstanding student and tennis player and will help us continue our upward trajectory as a program."

Belogliadova will join a Bradley Tennis program that is coming off a winning record in three straight seasons for the first time since 1990-93. During the fall season, the Braves were represented in the semifinal round in seven singles flights and three doubles flights of the Missouri Valley Conference Individual Championships. It marked the first time in program history that Bradley advanced everyone who played in the opening round.

Bradley Tennis opens its spring campaign January 21st against DePaul at Lakeshore Sport and Fitness in Chicago, IL.
