Senior Megan Welch of the women's golf team is the Prairie Farms Bradley Athlete of the Month, earning the honor after a fan vote for the month of October.

Welch helped lead the Braves during the fall campaign, posting a 74.67 stroke average – which is good for second on BU. She peaked during the season's second month when she posted a team-best 73.67 stroke average in two tournaments and now has a streak of seven-consecutive rounds of 75 or better.

Highlighting her performance during the month was posting the lowest 54-hole score of her Bradley career at the Little Rock Golf Classic (220). She also tied for eighth at the Coyote Creek Classic to pace BU, recording her second top-10 finish of her career.

Welch earned the Bradley Athlete of the Month accolades after a fan vote on the school's twitter account. She collected 33 percent of the vote to beat out Karagan Coggin of the volleyball team (31 percent), Alec Danner of men's cross country (22 percent) and Nicola Jansen of the women's cross country team (14 percent).
