Fluidity has become the theme of the 2021-22 season as the sporting world continues to deal with schedule changes created by the COVID-19 pandemic.  After both teams had upcoming games canceled by opponent COVID program pauses, Bradley and LSU quickly arranged for the Braves to visit Baton Rouge Saturday afternoon for the first-ever meeting between the two programs.

BY THE NUMBERS
3
For the third consecutive game, Bradley will be playing its first-ever game in a state.  After playing its first-ever games in North Dakota Dec. 4 and in South Dakota Dec. 6, Saturday's game at LSU will be Bradley's first-ever game in Louisiana.
5  Due to the cancellation of the Dec. 1 home game against Tulsa due to multiple postive COVID-19 test results within the Golden Hurricane Tier 1 personnel, Bradley will be playing its fifth consecutive road game Saturday.
12 Saturday's game at LSU will be Bradley's first game in 12 days due to the school's policy not to compete during final exams, which ran Dec. 9-15.

SERIES HISTORY
First Meeting
•  Bradley and LSU will meet for the first time on the hardwood (men's or women's basketball) Saturday when the Braves visit Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
•  The Braves are 3-12 all-time against the current, 14-team Southeastern Conference membership, though all 15 games have been played against just two teams - Kentucky (0-3) and Missour (3-9).
•  Of the 12 games in the series history against Missouri, only the last two have been played since the Tigers joined the SEC in 2012, leaving the Braves with a 1-4 all-time record against teams that were in the SEC at the time of the game.
•  Bradley won its most-recent game against the SEC, handling Missouri, 76-64, Dec. 6, 2014 at Renaissance Coliseum.
•  Bradley is 1-7 in road games against the SEC membership, earning its lone road victory at pre-SEC Missouri (83-78) Nov. 27, 1994.
•  The Braves are 0-4 in road games against teams that were in the SEC at the time of the game.

TOP 25 MATCHUP
•  Bradley is 0-32 all-time in games against teams ranked in the top 25 at the time of the matchup, including 0-23 in road games.
•  Sixth-year Bradley head coach Andrea Gorski is 0-7 against the Top 25 and those seven games rank second in program history to Lisa Boyer's (current South Carolina Associate Head Coach) 10 Top 25 matchups during her Braves head coaching tenure from 1986-96.

ONE MORE POWER GAME
•  Bradley has split a pair of games against Big Ten Conference opponents Wisconsin (64-57 home win) and Minnesota (73-54 road loss) this season.
•  Bradley is playing a third game against a Power 5 conference school in the same season for the first time since 20013-14, when the Braves opened the season with a home win against Illinois, then suffered road losses at SEC members #7 Kentucky and Missouri.
•  Including its 2021 NCAA Tournament game against Texas, Saturday's game at LSU will be Bradley's fourth against a Power 5 program in its last nine games.

LOOKING AHEAD
•  Originally scheduled to play in the Tulane Holiday Tournament next Monday and Tuesday, Bradley has had to pivot since the event was canceled earlier this week due to Tulane's COVID pause.
•  The Braves will return home and face Illinois-Springfield Sunday at 4 o'clock for a game that was just added to the schedule Friday morning.
•  Admission will be free for Sunday's game against the Prairie Stars.
•  Following a holiday break, Bradley will return to Renaissance Coliseum Dec. 28 to host Saint Louis in the non-conference finale.
