JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Freshman Mara Flaherty was the top individual in the field for Bradley Women's Golf when play was suspended midway through Monday's second round of play at the season-opening First Coast Classic and the Braves were 12th in the team standings when inclement weather forced the teams off the course.

Play was suspended a little over halfway through the day's second round and the squads will resume second-round action Tuesday morning at 6:45 a.m. (CST) with the scheduled third and final round to immediately follow.

Flaherty was tied for 22nd after firing a two-over 74 in the morning round at the par-72 Deerwood Country Club and was one-over through the first 13 holes of the second round, after firing a trio of birdies in the afternoon.  She was tied for 23rd overall at three-over when play was suspended.

Sophomore Sarah Nacos was five-over after an opening-round 77 (tied for 40th) and sits in a tie for 52nd at nine-over for the event with 27 holes left when play resumes in the morning.

Senior Taylor Ledwein had a much better afternoon round, wrapping up the day's action with a birdie and was one-over par through 11 holes of the day's second round.  Ledwein started the day with an 85 and is tied for 66th overall at 14-over.

Junior Maddie Hawkins also regrouped in the afternoon following a first-round 84.  Hawkins, who sits one back of Ledwein in 68th overall at 15-over for the tournament, was three over through 10 holes in the day's second round.

Rounding out the scoring for Bradley was sophomore Megan Welch, who is 72nd overall at 21-over par.  Welch opened Monday's action with an 83 and was 10-over par through 10 holes in the afternoon round.

As a team, Bradley sits in 12th overall at 39 over, 15 shots back of 11th-place Stetson.  Troy leads the field at three-under par with Arkansas State and tournament-host North Florida tied for second at even par heading into the final day of play.
