Soccer Adds Monday Dome Game

PEORIA, IL – Coming off Wednesday's 3-2, season-opening win against Eastern Illinois, Bradley Soccer has added a second indoor game. The Braves will host NCAA Division II Illinois-Springfield Monday morning inside the Slugger Dome at the Louisville Slugger Sports Complex.

Monday's game against the Prairie Stars is slated for a 10:30 a.m. kickoff. Restore Illinois: Phase 4 COVID mitigation protocols will prevent fans from being able to attend Monday's game. Bradley Athletics will operate a live stats feed at BradleyBraves.com.

The Braves (1-0) opened the season with a 3-2 victory Wednesday night against in-state rival Eastern Illinois in Bradley's first-ever regular-season game played in the month of February and the first-ever regular-season game played indoors. In keeping with the theme of "firsts," every Bradley goal and assist was a first-time stat for the Braves: goals by Rasmus Smidtdslund, Malte Winkler and Patrick Fishburne, with assists from Jack Armitage, Saadiq Mohammed and Winkler. Graduate transfer goalkeeper Bryce Logan also earned the win in his first game as the Bradley keeper.
