Thursday Soccer Game Moving To Eureka

Bradley will host Valley rival Evansville Thursday afternoon at Eureka College as Shea Stadium emerges from winter freeze

PEORIA, IL – As the area continues to emerge from the winter freeze, Thursday's Bradley Soccer home game versus Missouri Valley Conference rival Evansville will be played on the artificial turf of Eureka College's Pete FioRito Stadium at McKinzie Field.

In accordance with Eureka College COVID-19 mitigation policies, fans will not be permitted to attend Thursday's 1 p.m. game between the Braves (1-1-0, 0-1-0 MVC) and the Purple Aces (0-2-0, 0-0-0 MVC). Thursday's game will be broadcast on ESPN+ through The Valley on ESPN initiative.

The move of Thursday's game leaves Bradley with three home games to be played at Shea Stadium during the 2020-21 season. The Braves expect to open their home facility to a limited fan capacity when they welcome Drake Tuesday, March 9 for a 6 p.m. Valley clash. Bradley also will host Valley rivals Missouri State March 18 and Loyola Chicago March 30.

The Shea Stadium seating capacity each game will be restricted to a maximum of 450 guests, who will be assigned reserved seats in a physically-distanced arrangement of locations of no more than four per pod. Priority for each of the three games will be given to player pass-lists from both teams and current Bradley University students. The determination of available general public seating will be announced 24 hours prior to each game and available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Shea Stadium box office beginning one hour prior to each match's published start time.

When purchasing tickets for a Bradley Soccer game at Shea Stadium during the 2021 spring season, guests will be required to provide contact information – full name, email and phone number – for contact tracing purposes before entering the stadium. Tickets will be assigned in physically-distanced pods; the minimum pod size is two and the maximum pod size is four. Tailgating at Shea Stadium, pregame, postgame or in-game, will not be permitted during the spring season.
