PEORIA, Ill. – After easing into the 2020-21 schedule with a pair of duals against in-state foe SIU Edwardsville, Bradley Men's Golf will get into the full swing of things with the Braves playing in five tournaments over the next five-plus weeks, starting the stretch Monday and Tuesday in Springfield, Mo., at the Twin Oaks Intercollegiate.

While the Twin Oaks Intercollegiate has been a frequent stop for Bradley over the years, no one on the current BU roster has played in the event.

Play at the par-71 Twin Oaks Country Club gets underway Monday with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start for the tournament's first two rounds.  The 54-hole tournament wraps up Tuesday with another 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.

Bradley is one of six Missouri Valley Conference teams in the 18-team field along with tournament-host Missouri State, Drake, Loyola, Northern Iowa and Valparaiso.  Former Valley rivals Wichita State and Creighton are also in the field which includes Central Arkansas, Evangel, North Alabama, Northern Illinois, Omaha, Oral Roberts, SIU Edwardsville, South Dakota, UT Martin and Western Illinois along with individuals from Kansas.

The Braves were scheduled to play at last year's Twin Oaks Intercollegiate before the 2019-20 season came to abrupt end.  Bradley played in the event each of the three previous years, finishing in the top four all three times and claiming the team title in both 2017 and 2018.

A pair of Braves are coming off career-best rounds.  Josh Kirkham paced Bradley in the March 13 dual against SIU Edwardsville with a one-under 71 at the Pekin Country Club, while Nick Armbrust also had the low round of his BU career at even par 72 to help pace the Braves in the dual.  Senior Alex Ciaramitaro owns the low stroke average for Bradley on the young season at 72.5 per round after firing a 74 in last week's outing.

John Stillman had a solid outing in the second dual against the Cougars and has a 74.0 season stroke average after firing a 76 last week.

Bradley will follow up the Twin Oaks Intercollegiate with a trip to Lemont, Ill., on Friday, April 2 for the John Dallio Memorial Match Play hosted by DePaul.
