St. Louis, Mo. – The Bradley track and field teams made their first outdoor meet in 672 days count with 10 first-place finishes in addition to a school record in the 4x100 women's relay at the Billiken Invite on Friday.

The Bradley relay team of sophomore Hannah Ivy and freshmen Sierra Bryant, T'ya Suber and Kyra Koontz ran the 4x100 in a time of 48.24. The four student-athletes topped the previous school standard of 48.34 by one tenth of a second, which was the program's mark to beat since 1982.

Overall, the 4x100 relay highlighted a day where Bradley finished first in 10 different races on the campus of Saint Louis. Suber and Ivy added to their record with titles in the 200m and 400m dash, respectively. Suber crossed the 200m finish line in 25.10 – the second-best mark in school history and just two hundredths of a second behind the all-time record of 25.08, set by Melodie Turner in 1991.

Ivy crossed the finish line in the 400m dash in 56.95 – just missing her PR time of 56.60 that ranks as the second-best performance in school history. Freshmen Wilma Nielsen, Julia Nielsen and Reina McMillan followed as Bradley swept the top four in the event. Wilma Nielsen now ranks third in school history with a time of 57.50, while Julia Nielsen is sixth at 58.17 and McMillan is eighth at 58.45.

Koontz added to her school-record performance in the 4x100 relay by claiming the 100m hurdles crown. The rookie posted a time of 15.52, which ranks eighth in the school's record book.

Amelia Lesher added a first-place finish in the 800m for the Bradley women with a time of 2:18.85, while the Braves featured the second through fourth finishers in the 1,500m run, led by Sophia McDonnell with a time of 4:41.73.

Freshman Max Dieterich led the Bradley men in the 1,500m run as BU recorded the eight of the top finishers. Dieterich crossed the finish line in 3:51.45 and was followed by Matt Aho (3:56.52) in third, Charlie Parrish (3:56.89) in fourth and Scott Seymour in fifth (3:57.86).

Sophomore Miguel Agyei added two titles for the BU men, finishing first in the 400m dash in 51.77 and duplicating the feat in the 110m hurdles in 15.94.

The Braves also swept the 4x400 relays on Friday with the men finishing first in 3:27.31 and the women posting a time of 3:58.89.

Bradley is back in action next Friday, competing at the Redbird Invite on the campus of Illinois State.
