ST. LOUIS – In his lone season at Bradley as a graduate transfer, senior goalkeeper Bryce Logan (Bellingham, WA/Mt. Baker H.S.) has been named the 2020-21 Missouri Valley Conference Goalkeeper of the Year, according to a vote of the league's five head coaches announced Thursday morning.

The first-ever Bradley keeper to earn the MVC Goalkeeper-of-the-Year award, Logan also was voted to the 11-man All-MVC first team, while graduate forward Gerit Wintermeyer (Wiesbaden, Germany) collected his fourth career All-MVC award as a second-team honoree.

Though former Bradley keepers Adam Gross (1998) and Chris Dunsheath (2005) previously were named the MVC Defensive Player of the Year, Logan becomes the first Bradley net minder tabbed MVC Goalkeeper of the Year after easily pacing The Valley by averaging 5.0 saves per game during the 2020-21 season.  His 55 saves are more than twice as many as any other keeper in the league.  He also joins Gross (1998) and Dunsheath (2003, 2004, 2005) as the third Bradley keeper to earn All-MVC first-team recognition.

Wintermeyer joins an exclusive group of Bradley Soccer student-athletes, becoming the sixth Brave in program history to earn All-Missouri Valley Conference honors four times.  He was an honorable mention selection as a freshman in 2017, before capturing first-team league honors in both 2018 and 2019 to go along with his second-team recognition in 2020-21.  Bradley's previous four-time All-MVC honorees are Bryan Namoff, Gavin Glinton, Tim Regan, Chris Dunsheath and Grant Campbell.

Finishing the 2020-21 campaign with four points on one goal and two assists, Wintermeyer is tied for third in Bradley history with 10 career game-winning goals.  He also is ninth in program history with 57 career points and 24 career goals.
