Braves Open MVC Tennis Championship Against Drake

PEORIA, Ill. – Bradley Tennis will travel to Springfield, Missouri for the 2020 Missouri Valley Conference Women's Tennis Championships and open play against Drake Friday at 1 p.m. in the quarterfinal round.

HISTORICAL WINNING TRENDS
  • Bradley's victory secured its third straight winning season, the first time this mark has been achieved since 1991-93. 
  • The win also marked Bradley's second consecutive season with a winning conference record in which Missouri Valley Conference matches were played. It is the first time in program history Bradley has had back-to-back winning seasons as a member of the MVC.
  • It is also the first time since 1991-92 the Braves have a winning record in conference play in back-to-back seasons.
  • In 1991, the Braves went 4-2 in conference play as a member of the Gateway Conference before shifting to the Missouri Valley Conference, where they went 3-2 in 1992.
