PEORIA, Ill. – Bradley Men's Golf will head to the Chicago area for the Missouri Valley Conference Championship for the second time in five years with this year's Valley Championship slated for Flossmoor Country Club in Flossmoor, Ill., Monday and Tuesday.

Play at the par-72 Flossmoor Country Club begins Monday with a 9 a.m. shotgun start to the tournament's first two rounds.  Tuesday's final round will feature tee times beginning at 8:30 a.m.  BradleyBraves.com will provide links to live scoring for all three rounds.

The Braves have posted their two lowest 54-hole team totals since October 2018 in each of the last two outings, following up an 886 at the Murray State Invitational (April 5 & 6) with an 887 at the Flyer Intercollegiate (April 12 & 13).

None of the current Braves have played in a Valley Championship, with Bradley boasting one of the youngest lineups in the MVC this season.

Senior Alex Ciarmitaro is the most experienced BU player with 44 career rounds played and boasts a team-best 74.64 season stroke average.  Ciaramitaro has paced Bradley twice this season after he tied with Josh Kirkham for top honors among the Braves at the Flyer Intercollegiate and enters the MVC Championship with the sixth lowest career stroke average in program history at 75.14 per round.

Kirkham fired a career-best 70 in the first round of the Flyer Intercollegiate last time out and owns a team-best eight rounds of 75 or lower this season.  His season average of 74.82 is over two strokes better than his average round from 2019-20 and he owns a 73.88 average over his last eight rounds.

Third on the squad with a 75.27 stroke average and owning three top-20 finishes, junior Jalen Hodges has fired a team-best five rounds of 72 or better this season.  No other Brave has more than two this season.  Hodges has been Bradley's top finisher twice this year and his 217 at the Murray State Invitational is the lowest 54-hole score on the team in 2020-21.

In his first season at Bradley, sophomore Roy Radke ranks fourth on the squad with a 76.00 stroke average.  He has posted a 75.33 average over the last six rounds and matched a season-best with a 72 in the final round of the Flyer Intercollegiate last week.

Brady Kreiter rounds out the lineup for the Braves and is coming off his low 54-hole score of the year (223) at the Flyer Intercollegiate.  Owning a 77.50 average on the season, Kreiter has shot 76 or better in each of the last five rounds and owns a 74.40 average over that stretch.
