PORTLAND, OR – Former Bradley keeper Logan Ketterer (Racine, WI/The Prairie School) has been signed by Major League Soccer's Portland Timbers  on loan from the USL Championship El Paso Locomotive FC, the MLS Squad announced Thursday afternoon.

Ketterer starred at Bradley from 2012-16, earning All-Missouri Valley Conference honorable mention in each of his last two seasons, before being selected in the fourth round (71st overall) of the 2017 MLS SuperDraft by Columbus Crew SC.  He remained a reserve keeper in his two seasons with the Crew, playing all 120 minutes in the 2018 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup fourth-round match against the Chicago Fire, before signing with the USL Championship expansion El Paso Locomotive in 2019.

Ketterer has proven to be one of the top keepers in USL Championship the last two seasons, posting 21 shutouts in 48 competitions while helping El Paso qualify for the USL Championship playoffs in each of its first two seasons.  In the 2021 season opener Sunday, Ketterer played all 90 minutes in a 1-1 draw against New Mexico United.

Ketterer could make his Timbers debut Saturday when Portland visits San Jose for a 9 p.m. (CT) MLS match.  Portland will host LA Galaxy May 22 in a 2:30 p.m. (CT) match to be televised nationally on ABC.
