The Bradley track and field team opened action at the NCAA West Preliminary Wednesday night, competing in the men's 800m run.
 
Seniors Scott Seymour and Alec Hartman ran in the event after qualifying during the 2021 season. Seymour placed sixth in his heat with a time of 1:50.63, while Hartman was seventh in his section with a mark of 1:54.01.
 
Bradley continues action at the NCAA West Preliminary on Thursday night with the women's 800m run, scheduled for 7:50 p.m.
