PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley Men's Golf will make its first trip to the state of Kansas in four years with the Braves slated to take part in the Wildcat Invitational in Manhattan, Kan., Monday and Tuesday.

Last playing in the Sunflower State in October 2017 at the Bill Ross Intercollegiate (Overland Park, Kan.), Bradley is one of 13 teams that will play in the two-day event held at the par-72 Colbert Hills Golf Club.  Play begins Monday at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start to the first two rounds, while Tuesday's final round will have tee times beginning at 8 a.m.

Missouri Valley Conference rivals Drake, Missouri State and Southern Illinois join Bradley in a field that includes former Valley foes Creighton and Wichita State.  A pair of teams that ranked in the top 100 of Golfweek.com's 2020-21 rankings in Sam Houston State (44) and Kansas State (60) help highlight a team lineup that also features Kansas City, North Dakota State, Omaha, Oral Roberts and South Dakota.

The Braves were led by junior Josh Kirkham at the season-opening Hoosier Collegiate Invitational in Bloomington, Ind., earlier this week.  While Kirkham has been among Bradley's top three finishers in all but one tournament during his career, the Hoosier Collegiate marked just the second time he was the team's top finisher and first time he paced the Braves in a 54-hole event in his career.

Jacksonville transfer Aaeri Krishnan is expected to make his Bradley debut at the Wildcat Invitational.  A graduate transfer, Krishnan was named to the Atlantic Sun Conference All-Freshman team back in 2017-18 and fired a three-under 68 last year at the Irish Creek Intercollegiate to match the low round of his career.

Senior Jalen Hodges owns a 76.00 stroke average over his last 15 rounds dating back to the spring and has been one of Bradley's top two finishers in four of the last five 54-hole events dating back to early in the spring 2021 season.

Rounding out the Bradley lineup are junior John Stillman and sophomore Brady Kreiter.  Stillman will be in the lineup for the second straight outing after a playing a total of five rounds in 2020-21.  Kreiter, who will be celebrating his birthday Monday, will be part of the BU lineup for a fifth consecutive outing going back to the Murray State Invitational in the spring.

Bradley follows up the Wildcat Invitational with a trip to Chesterton, Ind., Sept. 20 & 21 for the Valpo Fall Invitational.
