Cross Country Heads to Missouri

The Bradley cross country teams are back in action on Friday, competing at the Gans Creek Classic on the campus of Missouri.
 

MEET INFO
The men's 8K race starts things off on Friday morning at 9 a.m. with the women's 6K to follow at 9:45 a.m.
 
Overall, 18 Division I programs are competing at Missouri – including fellow Missouri Valley Conference schools in Drake and Northern Iowa.
 

LAST TIME OUT
The BU men swept the Bradley Intercollegiate two weeks ago, finishing in the top seven spots for a perfect score of 15. George Watson claimed the individual title as he clocked the fastest time by a Brave at their home meet.
 
The Bradley women placed second overall with Wisconsin finishing first. Tiana LoStracco was the Braves' top finisher on the day in 13th place.
 

BRAVES IN THE RANKINGS
The Bradley men enter in ninth place in the Midwest rankings. Other schools that are competing Friday that are regionally-ranked include Texas A&M (South Central #5), Belmont (South #6), Wichita State (Midwest #6), Missouri (Midwest #7), North Florida (South #9), Iowa (Midwest #11), Kansas State (Midwest #14) and Creighton (Midwest #15).
 
The Bradley women are currently ranked 12th in the Midwest Region. The Braves are joined by fellow regionally-ranked schools in Texas A&M (South Central #3), Missouri (Midwest #8), Iowa (Midwest #9), Belmont (South #11), Baylor (South Central #13) and Kansas (Midwest #14).
 

UP NEXT
The Braves are back in action in two weeks on Oct. 15, competing at the Pre-National Invitational at Florida State, while also hosting the Bradley Pink Classic at Newman Golf Course.
