Kirkham Paces Men’s Golf On Day One At Hoosier Invite

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Junior Josh Kirkham is tied for 44^th at 10-over 152 after the opening day of the Hoosier Collegiate Invitational as he helped Bradley Men's Golf close Sunday's action 13^th in the team standings.

Kirkham fired a three-over 74 in the opening round at the par-71 Pfau Golf Course and posted a 78 in the second round to finish the day tied for 44^th at 10-over par 152. Senior Jalen Hodges is just one shot back of Kirkham in a tie for 49^th at 153, firing a first-round 75 in the first round and matching Kirkham's second round with a 78.

Junior John Stillman and sophomore Brady Kreiter will start Monday's final round in a tie for 75^th at 163. Stillman carded a first-round 81 and followed it up with a second-round 82, while Kreiter was one-shot better in the afternoon; chasing a first-round 82 with an 81 in the day's second round.

Junior Roy Radke rounded out the team scoring for the Braves in a tie for 81^st at 166, posting an 81 in the first round and an 85 in the second round of the day.

Bradley is 13^th in the 15-team field at 630, carding rounds of 311 and 319 on the opening day. Cincinnati leads the field at three-over 568 with Illinois following in second at five-over 573, while tournament-host Indiana is third overall 574.

The Braves will start Monday's final round 18 shots back of 12^th-place Butler (612). Bradley has a four-shot cushion on 14^th-place IUPUI (634) and nine-shot edge on 15-place Evansville (639) going into Monday's action.

The final round of the Hoosier Collegiate Invitational is scheduled to tee off at 7:30 a.m. (CDT) Monday morning.
