PEORIA, Ill. – Bradley Tennis kicks off its first fall campaign in nearly two years as the Braves head to Edwardsville for the Cougar Invite on the campus of SIUE.

BRADLEY NECESSITIES
Day 1: Friday, March 12, 2021, 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Day 2: Saturday, March 13, 2021, 8 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Teams: Bradley, Eastern Illinois, SIUE, Western Illinois

CHAMPIONSHIP PEDIGREE

With the 2020 fall season being cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Braves return two of the six defending champions in Flight Singles competition from 2019.
Bozana Lojpur captured the 2019 Flight 2 Singles Championship.
She was an MVC-All Select recipient in the 2021 dual match season, playing exclusively at the Number 2 spot.
Nikki Perlwitz is the reigning Flight 5 Singles Champion and has since gone on to win All-MVC at Number 6 Singles last dual match season.

SHE'S PRETTY GOOD TOO

Headlining the Bradley lineup is Sandra Maletin.
Maletin is a three-time MVC All-Select recipient and is looking to capture her first Flight 1 Singles Championship, twice finishing as runner up.

NEW FACES TO MAKE IMMEDAITE IMPACT

Bradley Tennis will lean on two newcomers to provide results this season.
Madalena Andrade, the 2020 SWAC Women's Tennis Player of the Year, joined Bradley as a transfer over the summer and will see action this weekend.
Kirstin Hailey is the lone Bradley freshman and is also expected to see significant playing time this weekend.

THE COACH

Matt Tyler returns for his eighth season at the helm of the Bradly Tennis program.
Tyler piloted the 2019 fall campaign that saw Perlwitz and Lojpur capture titles.
