For the first time since the opening two weeks of the season, Bradley will play a second consecutive game at home when the Braves host Missouri Valley Conference rival Valparaiso for a Saturday afternoon tip at Renaissance Coliseum.  Bradley has not played two straight home games since sweeping its season-opening, three-game home stand Nov. 9-19 against Wright State, Upper Iowa and Wisconsin.

BY THE NUMBERS
6  Including a 3-0 record at Renaissance Coliseum since the Beacons joined The Valley, Bradley is 6-0 at home all time in the series against Valparaiso.
8  Through the first 13 games of the season, eight different Bradley student-athletes have combined to miss 25 individual games due to a variety of illnesses and injuries.
9 Bradley's roster includes nine newcomers among the team's 15 active student-athletes.
10 Freshman guard Caroline Waite, now the team's season-scoring leader, has made at least one 3-point field goal in each of the first 10 games of her collegiate career.

SERIES HISTORY
16th Meeting | Bradley leads, 12-3
•  Saturday's game will be the 16th all-time meeting against Valparaiso, which began with Bradley's 92-74 non-conference win Jan. 12, 1983 at Valpo.
•  Since the Beacons joined the MVC for the 2017-18 season, the Braves own a 6-2 series advantage.
•  With games played in three different venues, Bradley is 6-0 all-time at home against Valparaiso:  Robertson Fieldhouse (2-0), Carver Arena (1-0) and Renaissance Coliseum (3-0).
•  Bradley's 6-0 home record against Valparaiso represents the second-most home victories without a loss against an opponent in Bradley history:  the Braves are 8-0 all-time at home against SIU Edwardsville.

TWO ON THE BOARD
•  As Bradley prepares to host Valparaiso Saturday, only two student-athletes who could take the floor against the Beacons have ever scored a point in the series.
•  While fifth-year senior guard Gabi Haack averaged 16.0 points per game in her eight career games against Valparaiso before her season-ending knee injury, senior guards Tatum Koenig (30 points in six games) and Chloe Rice (4 points in 2 games) are the only active team members to score against the Beacons.
•  Four other team members have totaled four scoreless appearances against Valparaiso, while the team's nine newcomers will face the Beacons for the first time Saturday.

DEFENDING THE HOME COURT
•  Since the start of the 2018-19 season, Bradley is 36-11 (.766) in its last 47 home games at Renaissance Coliseum.
•  The program record for the most home wins in a 4-year stretch has stood since 1983 after the Braves posted a 38-14 (.731) record at Robertson Memorial Fieldhouse from 1979-83.
•  Prior to the start of the 2018-19 season, Bradley had gone five consecutive seasons without a winning home record and the Braves had not posted a double-digit home wins total since 2008-09 (12-2).

LOOKING AHEAD
•  Bradley will return to the road for games next week at Missouri State (Thursday) and at Southern Illinois (Saturday).
•  After the trip to Missouri State and Southern Illinois, however, Bradley will go without travel for 18 days as they host a 4-game home stand Jan. 27-Feb. 6.
•  The Braves will host The Valley's Iowa pairing of Drake (Jan. 27) and UNI (Jan. 29), before tipping off the second half of the league race against southern Indiana squads Indiana State (Feb. 4) and Evansville (Feb. 6).
