Jonesboro, Ark. -- After a week off from competition, the Bradley Men's Golf team heads south for the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate at RidgePointe Country Club.

This is the first time the Braves will have participated in the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate. RidgePointe Country Club is a par-72, tipped out at 6,565 yards.

Missouri Valley Conference friends of Evansville, Valparaiso and Murray State join Bradley at the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate. Green Bay, Southeastern Louisiana, Oklahoma Christian, Texas A&M - Commerce and Arkansas round out the 10-team field.

As a team, Bradley is off to a strong start with three top-10 finishes in each of their tournaments. Bradley finished fifth out of 15 teams in the Wildcat Invitational to start their season and finished sixth out of 17 teams at the Valpo Fall Invitational.

The 54-hole tournament begins on Monday morning with 36 holes of play. The tournament will wrap up with the final 18 holes played on Tuesday.

LAST TIME OUT

The Braves are coming off a fifth-place team finish at the Derek Dolenc Invitational in Madison, Ill. Senior Josh Kirkham led the Braves as he tied for first individually with a three-round total of 206. Two rounds of sub-70 golf helped Kirkham to his best finish in his Bradley career. His final two rounds of 66 and 67, including two birdies on his last two holes, accounted for the tie for first.

Newcomer Luke Armbrust finished second on the team for Bradley with a three-round total of 222. Armbrust had his tournament-best round of 71 in the final round. The three-round total of 222 was the best of Armbrust's career at Bradley so far. His final round 71 tied his best 18-hole score at Bradley as well.

Not too far behind his teammates was senior Roy Radke with a three-round total of 225. Radke paired two rounds of 76 with a second-round low of 73.

Senior John Stillman rounded out the Braves team totals with a three-round score of 227. Stillman came into the year with a scoring average of 79.85 but opening rounds of 75 to start the Derek Dolenc Invitational helped him to his three-round total.

Freshman Connor Hamm rounded out the Braves just behind his teammates in Madison with a three-round total of 228. Hamm started out hot with a first-round 73, tying the team low in the first round.

WHAT'S COMING UP?
