Peoria, Ill. - Six members of the Bradley cross country teams have been named to the 2022 Missouri Valley Conference Cross Country Scholar-Athlete Team.

Sophomore Nicola Jansen and juniors Wilma Nielsen and Tiana LoStracco earned honors on the women's team while junior Max Dieterich and grad students Matt Aho and Charlie Perrish grabbed the award on the men's side. This is the third time Aho and Perrish have been honored for the award, while Nielsen tabbed her second scholar-athlete honor. This is the first time for all other Braves.

Bradley's six selections to the two combined teams were the most of any MVC school. The three on the men's side were also the most of any Valley school.

To be honored on the conference's Scholar-Athlete Teams, a student-athlete must finish among the first 20 runners at the conference championship and must hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.3 or higher. The student-athlete must be of sophomore standing both athletically and academically.

WHAT'S COMING UP?
The Braves are back in action Friday, November 11, for the NCAA Midwest Regional in Columbia, Missouri. The teams are competing for the chance to advance to the NCAA Championship which is hosted on November 19 in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
