KIDS IN THE CROWD
Tuesday, as mentioned, is the annual Field Trip Day for Bradley Women's Basketball. It's something the Braves haven't been able to do since the COVID-19 pandemic began.

Interestingly enough, Bradley's points per game average over their last five Field Trip Days leaps up to around 70 points per game.

The Braves won their last Field Trip Day game on December 10, 2019, defeating Jackson State, 78-69. The win saw Gabi Haack get a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds.

ABOUT THE KANSAS CITY SERIES
Bradley will try to extend its 3-0 all-time run against the Roos on Tuesday. The Braves average 82 points per game against Kansas City when playing in Peoria. Bradley won 80-59 in November 2001 and 84-70 in November 2020. On that note, the November 2020 meeting was the Braves' first game of the COVID-affected season.

The Braves crashed the boards quite well in that most recent meeting, bringing in 57 rebounds in total. Of note, two of the top three rebounders were guards: Mahri Petree (10) and Gabi Haack (9).

The Roos return their second leading scorer from that game, Ravon Nero. Nero, now a 5'9" grad student guard, scored 14 points on 5-15 shooting in 15 minutes in the loss.

TEXAS-SIZED CONNECTIONS
Kansas City head coach Dionnah Jackson-Durrett was the associate head coach at Texas when the Braves battled the Longhorns in the 2021 NCAA Tournament's First Round. Also on the Roos bench is former Bradley associate head coach Paul Fessler, who now holds the same position in Kansas City.

MILESTONES ON THE HORIZON
Tuesday's Field Trip Day game will be the 1,297th game in Bradley Women's Basketball history. Game #1,300 will be at Miami (Ohio) on December 16. The program is also nearing its 600th all-time win. The Braves currently sit at 594 all-time wins.
