AWARDS GALORE
  • Last week, Bradley's No. 1 Doubles tandem of Madalena Andrade/Kirstin Hailey were named Missouri Valley Conference Doubles Team of the Week for the second consecutive week.
  • It is the first time in Bradley Tennis history that the Braves have earned the award twice in a row.
  • Bradley has earned Valley awards in three consecutive weeks including a sweep two weeks ago.
  • It is the second longest streak of Valley awards in program history. In February 2019, the Braves earned Singles Player of the Week in each of the four weeks and swept the MVC Awards with Doubles Team of the Week honors in the second and fourth weeks of the month.
TOP OF THE ORDER KEY TO SUCCESS
  • Bradley's No. 1's in singles and doubles have been key in BU victories
  • Bozana Lojpur, who has patrolled the top singles spot in every match she's played this year, is undefeated in Bradley victories.
  • At No. 1 Doubles, Andrade/Hailey are also undefeated in Bradley wins.
FULL STRENGTH
  • After struggling to find its footing early in the season, Bradley has won three matches in a row and four of its last five total.
  • A key to this success has been a healthy lineup.
  • Bradley Tennis is undefeated in matches with its full roster available. BU's current lineup is 4-1 as a unit.
RECORD BOOK WATCH
  • With their win against Western Illinois, Andrade/Hailey have now won four doubles matches at the No. 1 spot, putting them in a four-way tie for 10th most wins at No. 1 Doubles by a pair in a season.
  • Nikki Perlwitz and Bozana Lojpur are creeping up the Bradley Tennis Record Book in multiple statistical categories.
  • Lojpur sits in a tie for sixth in Bradley Tennis history in career singles wins with 59. With two singles wins this weekend, she can enter the top five in program history.
  • She is closely trailed by Perlwitz, who owns 56 career wins and is in eighth place.
  • The duo is also 4th in program history in career doubles wins by a team with 35.
