CEDAR FALLS, IA – Bradley freshman guard Caroline Waite drained six 3-pointers on the way to a game-high 21 points in her first career game in her home state, but UNI (17-9, 10-5 MVC) put four players in double-figures in a 77-56 Missouri Valley Conference Women's Basketball win Friday night at McLeod Center.

Waite finished 6-for-8 from beyond the arc and scored her remaining three points with an old-fashioned "and-1" drive and free throw.  The top scoring underclassman in The Valley at 13.0 ppg and the league leader in 3-point field goals made per game (2.82), Waite (62) became the third freshman in Bradley history to reach 60 triples in a season.

Sophomore forward Isis Fitch was Bradley's only other double-digit scorer Friday, coming off the bench to score 10 points for the Braves.

Kam Finley led the host Panthers with 15 points.  Maya McDermott scored 12 points off the UNI bench and the Panthers got 10 points apiece from Grace Boffeli and Karli Rucker.

Bradley shot just 31.3 percent (20-64) from the field and could not overcome it cold shooting in the first half.  With Bradley making just 3-of-16 field goal attempts in the first quarter, UNI jumped out to a 20-7 lead through the first 10 minutes and maintained its double-digit advantage the rest of the way.

UNI shot an even 50 percent (28-56) from the field and the Panthers made all 12 of their free throw attempts.

The Braves will close the road portion of their schedule Sunday by visiting Drake for a 2 p.m. tip at the Knapp Center.  Bradley then will complete the regular season schedule March 5 by hosting I-74 rival Illinois State in another 2 p.m. tip at Renaissance Coliseum.
