School Record In 4x400 Highlights Final Day Of Meyo Invite

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Eight personal bests and a school record in the women's 4x400-meter relay highlighted the final day of competition at the Meyo Invitational for Bradley Track and Field Saturday.

Junior Hannah Ivy and sophomore T'ya Suber along with the freshmen duo of Maya Henderson and Amiyah Davis combined to break the school record in the women's 4x400 meter relay to wrap up the weekend's competition for the Braves. The group posted a time of 3:50.37, which is fourth best in the Missouri Valley Conference this season, to top the previous mark of 3:54.12 set at last year's MVC Indoor Championship.

Three of four Bradley individuals in the men's 3,000 meters set PR's, led by sophomore Michael Rebello who was third in the field at 8:22.0. Junior Charlie Parrish was on Rebello's heels in fifth, crossing the line with a new personal-best time of 8:24.25 and sophomore Noah Costa also clocked a PR at 8:27.90 to take 13^th.

Sophomore Ashley Maguire paced three Braves in the women's mile, taking over a full second off her personal best time. Maguire finished 17^th overall in a time of 5:01.18, to finish ahead of freshmen Olivia Hobbs (22^nd – 5:03.79) and Julia de La Piedra Sitjas (30^th – 5:13.96) in the field.

In the women's 3,000 meters, sophomore Lily Strauss turned in a season-best time of 10:28.46. Fellow sophomore Reina McMillan also helped highlight the day's competition with a personal-best time of 58.65 seconds in the women's 400 meters, which ranks as the fifth-best time in school history.

The men's 800 meters saw sophomore Zach Albrecht post a personal-best time of 1:55.74 to top his previous career-best time by over four seconds. Freshman Alice Narciso was Bradley's lone individual in the women's 800 meters, turning in a time of 2:16.97.

Bradley returns to action next weekend with the Braves sending individuals to both the Iowa State Classic in Ames, Iowa, Feb. 11 & 12 and to Allendale, Mich., for the Grand Valley State Big Meet on Friday, Feb. 11.
