PEORIA, Ill. -- After a near three-week break from competition, Bradley Men's Golf returns to action Monday and Tuesday with the Braves heading to Springfield, Mo., for the Twin Oaks Intercollegiate.

Bradley, which opened its spring schedule Feb. 28 & March 1 at the Dove Mountain Intercollegiate in Marana, Ariz., will be playing at the Twin Oaks Intercollegiate for the fourth time in the last five seasons with play getting underway at the par-71 Twin Oaks Country Club Monday with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start to the opening two rounds.  Tuesday's final round will also feature an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.

The 16-team field includes Missouri Valley Conference rivals Drake, Loyola, Missouri State, Northern Iowa and Valparaiso along with former league member Wichita State.  The tournament also includes Central Arkansas, North Alabama, Omaha, Oral Roberts, SIU Edwardsville, South Dakota, Tennessee Tech, UT-Martin and Western Illinois.  BradleyBraves.com will provide links to the Birdiefire live scoring for all three rounds.

Junior Josh Kirkham has been Bradley's top finisher in all seven outings this season after he tied for 12th at the Dove Mountain Intercollegiate, earning his fourth top-20 finish of the year.  Kirkham wrapped up play at last year's Twin Oaks Intercollegiate with rounds of 74 and 73 to earn a share of 79th in the field.  He owns a team-best 74.74 stroke average on the year.

Transfer Aaeri Krishnan has been consistent for the Braves, finishing second on the team in each of the last three outings.  Krishnan finished two shots back of Kirkham last time out at Dove Mountain in a tie for 17th.

Junior Nick Armbrust is one of three Braves with experience at Twin Oaks, playing in the event last year.  Armbrust, who tied for 27th at Dove Mountain earlier this month, turned in the lowest 54-hole score of his career (234) at last year's Twin Oaks Intercollegiate.

Fellow junior John Stillman also played in last year's Twin Oaks Intercollegiate, firing a second-round 76 to highlight last year's trip to Springfield, Mo.

Bradley follows up the Twin Oaks Intercollegiate with a trip to Indianapolis, Ind., for the Butler Spring Invitational March 28 & 29.
