PEORIA, Ill. -- For the third time during the 2021-22 season Bradley Men's Golf will travel to the state of Indiana, with the Braves marking the halfway point of the 2022 spring schedule by playing in the Butler Spring Invitational Monday and Tuesday at the par-70 Highland Golf and Country Club.

Coming off one of the best performances of the season at the Twin Oaks Intercollegiate earlier this week, where Bradley turned in the ninth-lowest 36-hole team score in program history, the Braves are one of 11 teams in the field that includes Missouri Valley Conference rivals Evansville and Valparaiso.  The field also includes Bellarmine, Butler, Detroit, Green Bay, Indian Hills, Morehead State, Purdue Fort Wayne and Youngstown State along with individuals from Ball State, Illinois, Indianapolis, IUPUI and West Virginia.

BradleyBraves.com will provide links to the live scoring, with play getting underway Monday morning with an 8 a.m. (CDT) shotgun start to the opening two rounds.  Tuesday's final round will also feature an 8 a.m. (CDT) shotgun start.

Bradley will be playing at the Highland Golf and Country Club for the first time since winning the team title at the Butler Fall Invitational in October of 2014.  The Braves enter with a bit of momentum after the team shot a 294 in the second round of the Twin Oaks Intercollegiate, marking the squad's lowest round of the season and best round since a 291 in the final round of the Flyer Invitational last April.

Junior Josh Kirkham earned his second top-10 finish of the year at the Twin Oaks Intercollegiate in Springfield, Mo., earlier this week, tying for sixth overall at three-under 139 as he tied the second lowest 36-hole score in school history.  Firing a career-best four-under 67 in the final round of the Twin Oaks Intercollegiate, Kirkham owns a 74.20 stroke average this spring and a 73.45 stroke average over his last 11 rounds.

Transfer Aaeri Krishnan boasts a 77.20 average this spring compared to a 77.38 average during the fall and is over a full stroke better (76.25 per round) over his last five outings vs. his season average of 77.33.

Junior Roy Radke fired matching 77's at the Twin Oaks Intercollegiate for his lowest rounds of the spring and has played in all but one tournament this season.

Fellow junior Nick Armbrust posted his lowest round of the season in the opening round of the Twin Oaks Intercollegiate and has played in the Bradley lineup in each of the last two outings.

Sophomore Brady Kreiter is coming off a season-best round of 75 and joins Kirkham as the only Braves to play in all 21 rounds in 2021-22 and has played in 11 consecutive events dating back to last year's Twin Oaks Intercollegiate in mid-March.

Junior John Stillman also turned in his lowest round of the spring at the Twin Oaks Intercollegiate, opening play with a first-round 78.  Stillman's 43 career rounds played for the Braves are second most on the team.

Bradley follows up the Butler Spring Invitational with its final outing before the MVC Championship (April 24-26) with the Stampede at the Creek in Omaha, Neb., April 11 & 12.
