  • This will be the 50th meeting between the Braves and Redbirds on the tennis court. The Redbirds lead 39-10.
  • Bradley dropped a 4-3 decision at The Clubs at River City in Peoria last season.
SPRING BREAK RECAP
  • The Braves went 2-2 last week during Bradley's spring break, with wins against Merrimack and North Dakota.
  • Bozana Lojpur and Nikki Perlwitz are the only singles players in the MVC to win three singles matches in a week this season.
  • The tandem combined in doubles to win three matches, the only duo in the league to win three matches in a week this season.
  • Bradley also won two doubles points in the four matches, with Madalena Andrade/Kirstin Hailey picking up two wins.
  • BU swept The Valley's weekly awards as Lojpur won Singles Player of the Week and Lojpur/Perlwitz won Doubles Team of the Week.
LOJPUR SHOOTS UP RECORD BOOKS
  • Last week was a good week to be Bozana Lojpur.
  • With three new singles wins, she now ranks fifth in BU tennis history with 62 career singles victories.
  • For her efforts, she earned her fourth career MVC SPOTW, the second most in BU Tennis history.
  • Teaming with Perlwitz, the duo's three wins earned their second MVC Doubles Team of the Week together.
  • The win was Lojpur's fourth DTOTW award as an individual, a Bradley Tennis record.
  • Not to mention, their third win of the week against Murray State was their 40th together. They rank three behind Natalia Barbery/Sandra Maletin for the most career wins by a duo in program history.
ANDRADE FINDING A RHYTHM
  • Last year's Southwestern Athletic Conference Player of the Year, Madalena Andrade has started to find a groove in Peoria.
  • She and Hailey picked up a 7-6(6) victory at the No. 1 Doubles position against Murray State, a big win for BU on its way to the doubles point.
  • She is also on a Bradley career-long two match winning streak at No. 3 Singles.
AWARDS GALORE
  • Bradley's seven Valley weekly recognitions lead the MVC this season.
  • Bradley Tennis has set a program record with four Doubles Team of the Week Awards this season.
  • Madalena Andrade/Kirstin Hailey have taken two Doubles Team of the Week awards for their efforts at the No. 1 spot, while Lojpur/Perlwitz earned two of their own at No. 2 and 3 Doubles.
  • Lojpur (No. 1) has taken two Singles Player of the Week honors and Maria Bezmenova (No. 4) has also earned one.
  • Bradley won MVC weekly awards in four consecutive weeks from February 8 – March 1, tied for the longest streak in BU history.
WINNING TRENDS
  • Bradley's No. 1's in singles and doubles have been key in BU victories.
  • BU only has one win in which the No. 1 Doubles team of Andrade/Hailey does not win.
  • The Braves have also only picked up one victory when the student-athlete patrolling No. 1 Singles is unable to win.
