Perlwitz Remains Unbeaten in Valley Singles Play

DES MOINES, IA – Bradley Women's Tennis played its last Missouri Valley Conference road match of the season, falling to Drake, 6-1, at The Roger Knapp Tennis Center.

Madalena Andrade/Kirstin Hailey won their ninth dual match of the season at No. 1 Doubles for Bradley (8-12, 2-2 MVC). The Bulldogs (11-6, 3-0 MVC) took all but one remaining point. Nikki Perlwitz continued her undefeated streak in MVC action, improving to 3-0 at No. 6 Singles.

BU is back in action for a non-conference road test at Saint Louis. First serve is set for 1 o'clock.

Match Notes: Andrade/Hailey's win at No. 1 Doubles was their ninth at the position this season. That mark puts them fourth in BU Tennis history for most wins by a tandem at the No. 1 spot… Perlwitz's 3-0 mark in singles is the only undefeated tally for a No. 6 player in the league… Perlwitz has now won nine of her last 11 singles matches.
