OMAHA, Neb. – Bradley Men's Golf, which is seventh of nine teams after day one at the Stampede at the Creek, turned in the best team round in three years with the Braves carding a second-round two-under 286 to highlight Monday's opening day of action.

After a first-round 303, Bradley had three individuals shoot under par in the second round as the Braves fired a two-under 286 in the afternoon for the team's lowest round since a 286 nearly three years to the day back on April 8, 2019 at the Ryman Hospitality Intercollegiate.

Bradley sits in seventh in the team standings at 590, one shot ahead of eighth-place North Dakota (591) and four strokes ahead of ninth-place Green Bay (593).  The Braves will enter Tuesday's final round five shots back of sixth-place South Dakota (585).  North Dakota State leads the field at 19-under 557 with St. Thomas and tournament-host Omaha tied for second overall at 574.

Junior Josh Kirkham continued his strong play, chasing a first-round 75 with a one-under 71 and is tied with teammate Aaeri Krishnan for 16th at two-over 146.  Krishnan matched Kirkham's rounds of 75 and 71 Monday, with the second-round 71 matching the low round of the season for the transfer.

Roy Radke is one shot back of Kirkham and Krishnan in a tie for 2 a2ndt 147 after posting a career-best two-under 70 in the second round.  After a first-round 77, Radke fired seven birdies in the afternoon round to card a career-best 70.

Junior John Stillman was four shots better in the second round and is tied for 40th at 153 after rounds of 78 and 75.  Fellow junior Nick Armbrust enters Tuesday's final round at 154 (T48th), carding scores of 76 and 78.  Sophomore Brady Kreiter rounded out the scoring for the Braves with rounds of 79 and 78 to close the day at 157 in a tie for 52nd.

The final round of the Stampede at the Creek tees off Tuesday at 9 a.m.
