Bradley will have 27 student-athletes in action in California and Central Illinois Thursday-Saturday

The Bradley Men's and Women's Outdoor Track Teams have a busy agenda this week, with student-athletes split between competitions in Southern California and Central Illinois.

Action gets started Thursday with a trio of Braves slated to run at the Bryan Clay Invitational at Azusa Pacific University. Sophomore Wilma Nielsen is expected to make her outdoor season debut for the Braves by joining classmate Tiana LoStracco in the Women's 800 meters. The 24 heats of the 800m are scheduled to begin at 2:55 pm PT (4:55 CT). Sophomore Sophia McDonnell will finish out Bradley's participation in the Bryan Clay Invitational with a late-night run in the 5,000 meters. Her heat is scheduled to race at 9:12 pm PT (11:12 CT).

The extent to which Bradley competes Friday at the Mt. Sac Relays in Walnut, CA will be determined by Thursday's results for LoStracco and Nielsen. The Women's 800m at Hilmer Lodge Stadium are slated to begin at 3:30 p.m. PT (5:30 CT) Friday.

Bradley has 24 student-athletes signed up to compete in 17 events Saturday during the second day of the Redbird Challenge at rival Illinois State University's Redbird Track & Field Complex. Sophomore Sierra Bryant is scheduled to get Saturday's action started for the Braves by competing in the Women's Shot Put at noon. Sophomore Noah Costa will close out this week's action on the track by running in the Men's 1,500m at 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
