PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley Men's Golf makes its first trip to the state of Kentucky since the fall of 2015 with the Braves heading to Paducah, Ky., for the 2021-22 Missouri Valley Conference Championship, which will be held Sunday through Tuesday at the par-72 Country Club of Paducah.

Coming off arguably the team's best tournament of the 2021-22 campaign, Bradley will venture to the Bluegrass State for the first time since playing in the Austin Peay Invitational in Hopkinsville, Ky., back in October of 2015.

Action at the 2022 MVC Championship begins Sunday morning with tee times starting at 9:30 a.m.  Monday's second round, along with the final round on Tuesday will get under way with tee times beginning at 9 a.m.

Bradley, which finished sixth at last year's MVC Championship, has fired four of the team's five lowest rounds of the season in the last six rounds.  The Braves carded an 887 last time out at the Stampede at the Creek for the team's lowest 54-hole score since last April's Flyer Intercollegiate.

Junior Josh Kirkham enters the Valley Championship 14th in the league in stroke average with a team-best 73.96 average, which would rank 10th among Bradley season marks.  Kirkham was Bradley's top finisher in nine of 10 events this season and has finished in the top 20 in all four tournaments this spring.  In fact, he has placed in the top 20 in seven of 10 outings this season with a pair of top-10 showings to his credit.

Transfer Aaeri Krishnan and junior Roy Radke tied for team-best honors last time out at the Stampede at the Creek with both tying for 13th overall.  Krishnan has posted a 74.14 stroke average over the last seven rounds and has been among Bradley's top two finishers in six straight outings.

Radke is one of three Braves on the roster with experience at the MVC Championship after taking 27th at last year's event.  Radke fired a career-best 70 in the second round of the Stampede at the Creek and has had a late-season surge to average 75.71 per round in the last three tournaments.

Fellow junior John Stillman has also been strong of late, averaging 75.40 per round over the last two events and matched the low round of his career with a 72 in the final round of the Butler Spring Invitational in late March.

After playing three rounds in the fall, junior Nick Armbrust has played in all four spring tournaments and his 76.40 average over the last two tournaments is over three strokes better than his season average of 79.92 per round.
