Tennis Falls to Redbirds in Tournament Semifinal

DES MOINES, IA – Bradley Tennis ends its season in the 2022 Missouri Valley Conference Championship semifinal after a 4-0 defeat to the Illinois State Redbirds at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center on the campus of Drake University Saturday afternoon.

The #2 seeded 'Birds pipped the #3 Braves in doubles, taking wins at Nos. 2 and 3.

Illinois State picked up singles wins at the Nos. 4, 3 and 5 positions to close out the match win. They advance to face Drake for the league title tomorrow at 10 a.m.

Match Notes: Bozana Lojpur/Nikki Perlwitz end their doubles career tied for the program record with 43 career doubles wins as a pair… The top four tandems are separated by just one career win… BU concluded a fourth straight double-digit win full season for the first time in program history.
