Tiana LoStracco Named Bradley Busey Bank Scholar-Athlete Of The Week

PEORIA, Ill. – Sophomore runner Tiana LoStracco (Guelph, Ontario/St. James) has been named this week's Bradley Busey Bank Scholar-Athlete of the Week announced Wednesday after turning in a personal-best in the 1,500 meters at last week's Illini Invitational.

LoStracco crossed the line in a time of 4:22.84 to clock the second-best time in the Missouri Valley Conference this season and ninth-best time in the Midwest Region. Her personal-best time also ranks as the second-best time in program history. An elementary education major, LoStracco owns a 3.88 cumulative grade point average.

Each week, a student-athlete is selected as the Bradley Scholar-Athlete of the Week. The individual chosen must be at least a sophomore in academic standing and boast a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average, while displaying a level of athletic excellence.

The Bradley Track & Field teams return to action this week with individuals competing at the Drake Relays (April 28-30) in Des Moines, Iowa, in addition to the Sycamore Open in Terre Haute, Ind., Saturday in the team's final outings before the 2022 MVC Outdoor Championships (May 13-15).
