PEORIA, Ill. -- Two home games against teams that played in the postseason last year, a pair of road contests against Power 5 squads and a trip to Miami, Fla., highlight the 2022-23 non-conference schedule as first-year Bradley Women's Basketball Head Coach Kate Popovec-Goss unveiled the non-conference portion of this year's schedule Thursday.

The Braves will open the 2022-23 campaign on the road, kicking off the Popovec-Goss era with a contest at Missouri on Thursday, Nov. 10.  One of three teams that reached the postseason in 2021-22 on the schedule, Missouri wrapped up an 18-13 season in last year's WNIT.

Opening a stretch in which Bradley will play four of five games at home, the Braves will face a team that reached the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 last year when they host Summit League power South Dakota on Sunday, Nov. 13.  South Dakota was 29-6 last year, following up a NCAA Tournament first-round victory over Ole Miss with a 61-47 win over Baylor to reach the Sweet 16.  The Coyotes have earned a spot in the NCAA Tournament in four straight years and earned a postseason bid each of the last 12 years.

Bradley hits the road again for a Nov. 16 contest at Wisconsin after topping the Badgers at Renaissance Coliseum last year.

A three-game home stand gets underway Nov. 19 with Bradley hosting McNeese State as part of a doubleheader with Bradley Men's Basketball at Carver Arena and continues with a Nov. 22 home contest against Missouri Baptist at Renaissance Coliseum.

Bradley's annual Field Trip Day falls on Nov. 29 with 2021-22 WNIT participant Kansas City coming to Renaissance Coliseum to close out the non-conference home slate.

The Braves will play five games away from home in the month of December, starting with a Dec. 3 trip to Chicago to face former Missouri Valley Conference member Loyola.

Another in-state battle is up next with Bradley facing Eastern Illinois in Charleston, Ill., on Dec. 6.

After a break for finals, the Braves venture to Oxford, Ohio, for a Dec. 16 matchup at Miami (Ohio).

The non-conference schedule concludes in Miami, Fla., with Bradley scheduled to play in the Florida International Hoops Showdown Dec. 19 & 20.  The Braves will square off with tournament-host Florida International and George Mason in the team's first trip to Florida since winning the Florida Atlantic Thanksgiving Tournament in Boca Raton, Fla., during the 2018-19 campaign.

Prior to the start of the regular season, the Braves will host McKendree on Nov. 3 in the lone exhibition game on the schedule.
