GAME INFO
The schools are set to meet on the pitch at 6 p.m. with the game shown live on ESPN3.

ABOUT THE BRUINS
In their first season of Missouri Valley Conference play, the Bruins enter league play with a 2-1-2 record. The team's lone loss was to No. 6 Kentucky, while Belmont also earned a 0-0 draw with Lipscomb. Most recently, the Bruins defeated UNC Asheville, 2-1, on Saturday.

SERIES HISTORY
In six all-time meetings from 2000 to 2019, Bradley is 4-1-1 against Belmont, splitting two games in Nashville. The schools last met in 2019 when they battled to a 0-0 draw at Shea Stadium.

MISSOURI VALLEY CONFERENCE
Bradley is set to open its 32nd season of Missouri Valley Conference action on Saturday, squaring off against a team playing its first-ever Valley home game in any sport (women's soccer played the first Valley game – home or away – on Friday at Indiana State).

The Sept. 17 opener is the early for BU in school history, surpassing last season's Sept. 18 date, while the Braves are 10-18-3 all-time in openers and 6-11-3.

UP NEXT
The Braves remain on the road to play another new Valley school in UIC, meeting in Chicago on Saturday, Sept. 24 for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
