PEORIA, Ill. -- The 2022-23 Bradley Women's Basketball schedule is complete with the Missouri Valley Conference unveiling the 20-game league slate Thursday morning.

Coupled with the expansion of the MVC to a 12-team league in 2022-23, the Valley scheduled moved to a 20-game format this season after a 27-year stretch with an 18-game round-robin schedule.

The Braves will play home-and-home series against nine league schools with Bradley playing just one contest in 2022-23 against conference newcomers Belmont and Murray State.

Kicking off the Valley slate at home after a five-game road swing to wrap up the non-conference schedule, Bradley hosts Northern Iowa (Dec. 30) in the team's lone home game in the month of December.  A New Year's Day home outing against Drake wraps up the league-opening, two-game home stand.

The Braves' first Valley road trip has Bradley heading to Carbondale, Ill., for a Jan. 5 meeting with defending league regular-season champion Southern Illinois followed by a Jan. 7 outing at Missouri State.

Bradley returns to Renaissance Coliseum for the first round of the annual I-74 rivalry with Illinois State on Jan. 12.

Bradley's first trip to the state of Kentucky since 2013-14 falls on Jan. 15 as the Braves face Murray State for the first time in program history.

Home games against Evansville (Jan. 20) and Indiana State (Jan. 22) wrap up a stretch in which Bradley plays five of the first eight Valley games at home.

A three-game MVC road swing starts Jan. 27 at UIC with the Braves closing out the first half of the league schedule Jan. 29 at Valparaiso.

Bradley makes the short trip on I-74 for the rematch with Illinois Feb. 2 in Normal, Ill., to open the second half of the conference slate.

The Braves host Belmont on Feb. 5 to kick off a three-game home stand that starts with back-to-back contests against teams that played in last year's NCAA Tournament.  The Bruins have reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament each of the last two seasons.

Missouri State makes the trip to Peoria for a Feb. 10 contest, with Bradley wrapping up the home stand with a Feb. 12 rematch against Southern Illinois.

Playing four of the final six regular-season games on the road, the Braves visit Drake (Feb. 16) and Northern Iowa (Feb. 18) leading into the final home stand of the year.

After hosting Valparaiso (Feb. 23), Bradley finishes out the home schedule Feb. 25 against MVC newcomer UIC to mark the only home-and-home series with any of the three conference newcomers in 2022-23.

The final road swing of the season has Bradley visiting Indiana State (March 2) and Evansville (March 4).

The 2022-23 MVC Tournament will be held March 9-12 in Moline, Ill. at Vibrant Arena at the Mark.
