Kirkham Named Valley Golfer of the Week

After a record performance at the Derek Dolenc Invitational this week, senior Josh Kirkham of the Bradley men's golf team was honored as the Missouri Valley Conference Men's Golfer of the Week.

Kirkham shot a seven-under 206 at SIU Edwardsville to finish tied for first at the meet. He became the first Bradley golfer to card two rounds of 67 or better at a single tournament with his round two score of 66 matching the school record for 18 holes. Overall, he is the seventh Brave to post a 66 and the first since Michael Mounce did so in 2018.

The weekly accolade is the first for Kirkham during his collegiate career.

Kirkham and the Braves return to action on Monday, Oct. 10, competing at Arkansas State's Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate.
