PEORIA, Ill. – The Men's cross country team went alone to compete in the Stan Lyons Invitational, hosted by Butler University. The race was held at the Northview Cross Country Course in Carmel, IN, located around 40 minutes north of Indianapolis.
Bradley University placed second as a team to the host, Butler, in this small race. Freshman
Zachary Balzer led the team with a time of 23:05.7, placing fifth.
The Braves had two runners within the top 20. Junior
Mickey Vreeland finished in 15th place, recording a time of 23:57.6. Freshman
Jaxson Copelin finished 18th, with a time of 24:03.2.

On October 27, the Braves men's and women's cross country teams will head to Nashville, Tenn., and compete in the Missouri Valley Conference Championship. The event begins at 9 a.m. CT.
